Incorporating Recycled Materials:
Enhanced Marketability, Equal Quality

Paper, plastic, glass and metal are just some of the recycled materials used to manufacture new products, keeping them out of our landfills. Companies that manufacture with recycled materials have found that it can be less expensive, and the products that are manufactured are of equal quality. And these days, having a recycled component in most any product enhances its marketability within a consumer environment that is constantly clamoring for more “green” products.

Using recycled materials doesn’t necessarily replace existing operations. Manufacturers can add a recycled process to their existing operations, thereby expanding their market base to include products with post-consumer content. It also provides the opportunity to develop a new, innovative product and capitalize on the growing availability of new technologies.

The Long Beach Manufacturer Advantage Program is free of charge, and can help your business make the transition to using post-consumer materials.
